Jul. 30--Duluth-based Cirrus Design Corp. announced Wednesday it has established a subsidiary, Cirrus Aircraft Finance, to offer flexible financing programs and leasing options for its SR20 aircraft.
The planes have not yet received final Federal Aviation Administration approval, but the company expects to be able to deliver the planes by the end of the year.
Customers will be able to finance 90 percent of the $168,800 purchase price with extended terms of up to 20 years, according to a company press release.
Cirrus has 195 orders for the SR20 and expects to receive FAA certification this fall. Deliveries will ...
