Oct 15, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- In the year to October 2009, the Perpetual Pure Value Fund gained about 50 per cent. This compares with a nine per cent rise in the S&P/ASX 300 Accumulation Index and a 16 per cent rise in Perpetual's flagship fund. The Pure Value Fund, which is managed by stockpicker, John Sevior, is sold directly to target clients via their investment committees. Sevior says clients are aware that the nature of the fund will impact upon its distribution.
