Pima County, AZ and Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT) announced the signing of a contract to provide Project 25 Phase 2 TDMA technology to address the County's regional communications needs. This implementation allows the Pima County Wireless Integrated Network (PCWIN) to achieve the highest level of interoperability for a public safety agency and increases coverage and capabilities that enhance officer safety (see also Motorola, Inc.).
