In recognition of Exelon's leadership in corporate sustainability and environmentally sound business practices, the company was named to the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index (DJSI North America) for the fourth consecutive year. Exelon achieved an overall sustainability performance score of 74 percent, compared to the average score of 56 percent for the electric utility sector. This is an increase from Exelon's score of 71 percent in 2008 (see also Exelon Corporation).
