Along with cooler temperatures and changing colors, this time of year brings a bounty of hearty and healthy fall foods. Apples are a perennial favorite, and Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE:WMT) is making it easy to enjoy this year's harvest with Apple Fest. During the month of October, customers will find savings on apples and apple products as well as recipes and Paula Deen products in 2,000 Walmart stores nationwide. In addition, select Walmart stores will offer shoppers samples of apples and apple products on four special days - Oct. 2, Oct. 4, Oct. 10 and Oct. 11. Produce from local growers will also be featured throughout stores nationwide.
