Fitch Ratings assigns an 'AA' rating to Lake County, Illinois' (the county) $1.2 million water and sewer system second lien subordinate revenue bonds, series 2009. In addition, Fitch affirms the 'AA+' rating on $36.4 million of the county's outstanding senior lien water and sewer system revenue bonds and the 'AA' rating on the county's $1.7 million outstanding subordinate lien water and sewer system revenue bonds. The bonds are scheduled to sell competitively the week of Oct. 12, 2009 and may be issued as tax-exempt or Build America Bonds. The bonds are payable from a pledge of the net revenues of the system. The Rating Outlook is Stable.
