CTIA-The Wireless Association[R] announced the newly elected board members and the incoming Chairman for the wireless industry trade group. Former Vice Chairman of the board, Ralph de la Vega, AT&T Mobility President and CEO, will begin his term January 2010 as the new Chairman. Mr. de la Vega succeeds T-Mobile USA President and CEO, Robert Dotson.
"As a distinguished leader in the highly competitive wireless industry, Ralph will undoubtedly be a tremendous asset to the Association and the industry as a whole in his role as Chairman," said Steve Largent, CTIA-The Wireless Association President and CEO. "I look forward to working with Ralph in the coming year."
