The coastal razor clam season is set to begin tomorrow, but the weather will play a huge factor on success rates.
"The weather outside sure looks frightful, but this is what happens in the fall on the coast," said Dan Ayres, the head state Fish and Wildlife coastal shellfish biologist. "They are predicting 12- to 14-foot swells on Friday, but the forecast looks better for Saturday and Sunday."
