Emirates NBD said its move to become a member of the centre comes in line with the bank's "commitment to support initiatives that raise the standards of the banking and finance industry in the region."
The establishment of the DIC came following a joint decision taken at the General Assembly of the Union of Arab Banks that was held recently in Dubai, UAE. The DIC is a web-based information and data centre which aims at enhancing communication and cooperation among banks in the Arab region.
