A 6-year-old boy feared adrift in a helium balloon that traveled about 50 miles from his Colorado home Thursday was found alive in his attic, authorities said.
Falcon Heene was found hiding in a cardboard box in the attic of his family's Fort Collins home, ABC News reported.
He's OK, he's been located, he's at the house, Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden said. "Investigators will be interviewing him and find out what occurred.
This is not the first time we've been searching for a child and the child hides because he's worried he's going to get in trouble.
