The Internet, that worldwide monster of immediate access, has finally reached the realm of book reviews. Many publishers throughout the world have opted to create a homepage for their newly released novels. Their hope is that such an endeavor will help them sell more books. Stanislao Nievo's homepage, unfortunately, offers only tidbits of worthless details on the genesis of his novel, plus a friendly session of questions and answers, anchored by the author's publisher, perhaps a preemptive strike against criticism.
