Aug. 7--Charles Paris can't quite stomach the idea that he can save $400 by driving to Greensboro to catch a Greensboro-Charlotte-Dallas flight.
Recently, Paris drove his 14-year-old son to Greensboro for a $285 round-trip to Dallas, which would have cost $699 from Charlotte. "It's ludicrous to catch a plane that will come back through Charlotte," he said.
