Centinel Bank celebrated its 40th anniversary this spring with 40 homemade cakes, mariachi music and donations totaling $12,000 for two food pantries in Taos. The bank could have thrown a posh event, but that's not what CEO Rebeca Romero Rainey had in mind.
As the third generation to run the bank, Romero Rainey wanted to mark the milestone in a way that reflects the bank's role as an economic catalyst in Taos County.
