ATLANTA-Garden decor is flowering, indoors and out. This was apparent at the International Gift & Home Furnishings market here last month.
AmericasMart featured two floors of garden-related items in its The Gardens section. The newly expanded section of the mart showcased garden accessories, furniture and decor in more than 150,000 square feet featuring 200 companies.
The Gardens hall began in 1994 with 12 companies covering 7,000 square feet. The Gardens is the only such space at a trade mart, according to AmericasMart.
For AmericasMart, vendors and retailers alike, the garden segment of home furnishings represents a major opportunity.
