Aug. 12--SAN DIEGO--Convinced that the buying power of Latinos is strong and growing in San Diego County, two radio stations went on the air in Spanish on Monday, doubling the number of such stations on the U.S. side of the border here.

The stations were purchased for $65 million by Heftel

Broadcasting Corp.of Dallas from Jacor Communications Inc. of Covington, Ky.
