SSI Schaefer's test and technology center in Giebelstadt, Germany, recently celebrated its first anniversary.
Like a growing number of material handling solution vendors, Schaefer built a test center to better serve its customers by providing them with an opportunity to see these solutions up close and personal.
"The Tech Center enables us to meet our customers' growing demand for information," says Harrie Swinkels, the company's CEO. "It allows us to present the development of systems that are in line with the market more transparently, and at the same time offer the possibility to experience the modern components of intralogistics first hand."
