Chicago Bears middle linebacker Mike Singletary and Miami Dolphins center Dwight Stephenson recently were among the five who were enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame at the Canton Civic Center in Canton, OH.
Singletary, an eight-time All-Pro, was named the 1985 defensive player of the year on the Super Bowl XX champion Chicago Bears. He played for the Bears for 12 consecutive seasons, the last one in 1992. In 1990, he was the NFL Man of the Year, which is the most prestigious civic honor an NFL player can earn.
