SOUTHPOINTE, Pa., Aug. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- ANSYS, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANSS) and Unigraphics Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: UGS) announced today that they have signed an OEM agreement to incorporate ANSYS, Inc.'s meshing technology into Unigraphics' computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools. UG/Scenario for ANSYS, a Unigraphics Solutions CAE tool, will utilize ANSYS(R) software's industry- leading meshing technology. UG/Scenario for ANSYS will enable Unigraphics users to simulate and optimize the performance of product designs using the ANSYS meshers and solvers while maintaining complete bi-directional associativity to the Unigraphics Master Model.
