CONWAY, Ark. and DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., Aug. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Acxiom(R) Corporation (Nasdaq: ACXM) announced that yesterday the Securities and Exchange Commission declared effective its Registration Statement on Form S-4 in connection with its proposed merger with May & Speh, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPEH).
In connection with the transaction, Acxiom and May & Speh announced that they will hold meetings of their respective stockholders on September 17, 1998 and that proxy materials relating thereto were mailed today to shareholders of record as of July 31, 1998.
