PHOENIX, Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- America West Airlines (NYSE: AWA) today announced plans to expand and improve service at its Columbus, Ohio, hub by increasing daily flights from 29 to 37 and offering a more convenient schedule for business travel. The changes will begin Oct. 25, 1998 and the new schedule will be fully implemented by January 1999. America West's schedule expansion will be supported by Mesa Airlines operating 50-seat Canadair Regional Jets (CRJs) as America West Express.
