The Army and Politics in Argentina, 1962-1973: From Frondizi's Fall to the Peronist Restoration. By Robert A. Potash. (Stanford: Stanford University Press, 1996. Pp. xv, 547. $55.00.)

Soon thereafter, a retired Argentine lieutenant general offered Potash the use of his unpublished memoirs if he would extend his work to a third volume. The result is the current book, which follows closely the same format as the first two, with its detailed accounts of military intervention into politics.
