Taipei, Oct. 15, 2009 (CENS)--Taiwan's golf equipment makers are seeing greener future since the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recently announced to relist golf and football as Olympic sports to be held in 2016 and 2020.

K.W. Lee, chairman of O-TA Precision Casting Co., Taiwan's leading golf equipment manufacturer, indicated that golf had been dropped as an Olympic sport for more than a century, but its reenlistment would help to energize the golf industry, especially with Tiger Woods as the de-facto spokesman and living legend.
