Statement of Need
Cosmetic dermatology has experienced exponential growth due to advancements in treatment options and increased consumer demand. The demand for cosmetic procedures in patients aged 51-65 has doubled in the last five years. (1) As the number of injection treatments performed per year increases, so do the inherent risks and complications. As the scope of cosmetic dermatology expands, there is an ongoing need to increase practitioner knowledge in order to reduce the risk of adverse events and ensure positive patient outcomes.
