29-year-old Mark Porter and Michelle Clydesdale, aged 24, drowned after leaving their hotel in the holiday resort of Salou, near Tarragona on Spain's north-eastern coast.
They went missing at about 2.30am and their three friends raised the alarm with firefighters who found their bodies an hour later.
