Lockheed Martin Corp. has reeled in two new military contracts together worth nearly $2 billion to produce sea-based ballistic missiles and missile-defense systems, the company said Monday.
The nation's largest defense contractor recently received an $853.3 million from the Navy to produce Trident II submarine-launched ballistic missiles. It is the latest order for the Trident II program, led by Lockheed Space Systems Co., based in Sunnyvale, Calif.
