CARACAS, Venezuela, Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Diebold OLTP Systems, C.A., a Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE: DBD) joint venture in Venezuela, has received an order for 549 automated teller machines (ATMs) from Banco Provincial, a part of the Spanish financial group Banco Bilbao Vizcaya (BBV). This represents the largest single ATM order ever in Venezuela.
The order includes a mix of cash dispensers and advanced-function ATMs equipped with statement printers. Some of the ATMs are slated for installation in new locations, while others will replace existing units. Installation began earlier this month and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
