RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Oct 28, 2009 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- DDS Wireless (TSX:DD) is pleased to announce that its taxi business unit, Digital Dispatch, recently signed three significant customers for its TaxiBook(TM) bundled subscription service. The largest of these is Tectrans Inc. of Los Angeles, which has contracted for 90 vehicles and is utilizing TaxiBook(TM) as a platform to integrate newly acquired taxi fleets. All of these deals are significant as they represent deployments well in excess of the current average fleet size for TaxiBook(TM) and demonstrate the flexibility, scalability and rapid deployment of the solution.
