How many of us have had this experience at a restaurant:
You're with a party of four, ready to enjoy a nice evening and a great meal together with the emphasis on "together here. You've ordered your dinners, and after the usual wait, your server arrives with your meals for three members of your table.
For some reason, the fourth meal doesn't show up until the other three members of your party are essentially finished with their dinners. The fourth person now feels he or she must rush their way through their food, while the other three members look on with pity as they sip their after-dinner coffee.
