GridPoint, a provider of smart grid software, announced that it has appointed smart grid and utility industry veterans Michael T. Donohue and Michael Hearney to its corporate development group.

Donohue, formerly Managing Partner in Accenture's North American Utilities Practice, will be responsible for coordinating the company's interaction with customers, systems integrator partners, and state and local regulators. Hearney, formerly Vice President of Global Alliances for eMeter, will lead GridPoint's partnership and alliances initiatives.
