SAMSUNG ENGINEERING WINS US$1.2 BLN PLANT ORDER FROM UAE
SEOUL - Samsung Engineering Co. (KSE:028050), South Korea's largest plant builder, said today it has won a US1.2 billion order to build a fertilizer plant in a northern area of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Under the deal with Fertil, a unit of state-run Abu Dhabi National Oil Co.(ADNOC), the plant will be constructed in Ruwais, a city 250km west of Abu Dhabi, by January 2013, Samsung Engineering said.
