RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. -- White River Capital, Inc. (NYSE Amex: RVR) ("White River") today announced net income and net operating income for the third quarter 2009 was $1.3 million, or $0.31 per diluted share, compared to third quarter 2008 net operating income of $1.5 million, or $0.37 per diluted share. The net income results for the third quarter of 2009 are due to the following:
