TORONTO, ONTARIO, Oct 29, 2009 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- Delta Uranium Inc. (TSX:DUR) ("Delta" or the "Corporation") announces that it intends to commence up to 1,000 meters of diamond drilling on its Deer Lake uranium project in western Newfoundland. Drilling on the Incinerator Road zone is expected to start by November 1st, 2009.
Uranium mineralization at Incinerator Road is hosted in a series of carbonate rocks of Carboniferous age, just above the unconformity where they rest on top of older basement rocks.
