I'VE NEVER BEEN A FAN OF THUMB breaks or other security devices for concealed carry. After all, a properly molded leather holster or a molded Kydex holster with a little bit of screw tension will keep your gun secure as you go about your day-to-day business. And if your weapon is properly concealed, it's highly unlikely that anyone is going to try to snatch it since, by definition, it should be concealed.
Still, some folks like retention devices for concealed carry. I don't, but I spend a lot of time packing a 1911 in the woods where the increased security of a retention device is comforting.
