Opinions on Glock run the gamut from "I must own everything they make" to "Reliable handgun, but I just don't like plastic." Me, I'm in the middle. I admire the durability, reliability and functionality of the Glock, but I really prefer the original frame style. Maybe it is my 1911-accustomed hand, or perhaps I'm just an old raft.
However, Glock recently unveiled an update of its pistols, one that makes it a lot more comfortable to my at-times peculiar firing grip. The new RTF, which stands for Rough Texture Frame, is mostly a standard Glock 22 but with improvements--and they're not limited to the new frame texture.
