1911 CUSTOM SHOPS HAVE FOR decades offered "package guns" intended to fulfill a specific purpose. Recently, Wilson Combat began to offer the option of having its well-established and respected Classic model in 9mm or .45 ACP--appropriate for IDPA's Enhanced Service Pistol or Custom Defensive Pistol divisions of competition, respectively-engraved with the IDPA logo and division designation because the company feels the Classic ESP and Classic CDP give an IDPA shooter everything he or she really needs to excel in those divisions.
