THINK: Whether you're skating across a frozen pond, or taking a lick of a Popsicle, ice can behave in unexpected ways. What happens when you touch your tongue to ice?
PREDICT: Suppose you have a piece of ice that is cut in half. Do you think the two pieces could ever be put back together?
