EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ENROLLMENT in dental health plans throughout Los Angeles County held steady despite unemployment rising higher than a year ago. Many dental plans only offer coverage through employers, so numbers can fall due to layoffs.
Nevertheless, the 10 largest dental plans reported 5.8 million enrollees in Los Angeles County. Enrollment levels matched last year's totals.
