Rita Veronica (Dowdall) Allard of North Attleboro, a retired nurse's assistant, died Oct. 22 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford. She was 68.
Born in Attleboro, Mrs. Allard was a lifelong resident.
She attended St. Joseph School in Attleboro.
Prior to becoming a certified nurse's assistant, she worked for Leach and Garner Co. in Attleboro for many years. She later worked at Daggett-Crandall-Newcomb Home for nine years until her retirement in 2004.
