Aug. 28--Under pressure from state regulators, State Farm finally agreed Thursday to return millions of dollars to more than 3 million Florida customers of its residential, auto and workers compensation insurance lines.

State Farm also agreed to improve its hurricane coverage after the company and the state Department of Insurance received complaints about reduced coverage -- changes that are prompting some South Floridians to drop State Farm as their insurer.
