Weststar Resources Corp. (TSX-V: WER) (the "Company") is pleased to announce the commencement of drilling operations on the Axe project, an advanced stage project with a known historical porphyry copper resource. The property consists of 21 mineral claims (119 claim units), located in the Similkameen Mining Division, 20 km north of Princeton, British Columbia (see also Weststar Resources Corp.).
