GameStop Corp. (NYSE: GME) announced it is included in Newsweek magazine's inaugural "Greenest Big Companies in America" top 500 ranking. The world's largest video game and entertainment software retailer was ranked 36th out of 52 retailers and 228th out of the 500 companies included on the list. The comprehensive list is also viewable online at www.newsweek.com.
According to Newsweek, it collaborated with three research partners to compile the rankings. Measurement factors included environmental, social and governance data, quantitative environmental performance measurement, and social responsibility, sustainability and environmental reporting.
