Incentives on cars and trucks are shooting up as dealer inventory, decimated by Cash for Clunkers, is piling up again, according to Edmunds.com, the premier online resource for automotive information.
"This year has been a wild ride for automakers, and it's not over yet," observed Edmunds.com Senior Analyst Jessica Caldwell. "No segment is unaffected, though luxury models and trucks are being discounted particularly heavily."
