Innovative Solutions & Support, Inc. (IS&S) (NASDAQ:ISSC) announced that Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron (NYSE:TXT) company, has been granted a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) supplemental type certification (STC) for the IS&S-developed AdViz flat panel display system now available for retrofit in some legacy Cessna Citations.

IS&S joined the Cessna team in January 2007, as the flat panel display system provider for the Cessna AdViz Glass cockpit retrofit program. The program replaces aging flight instruments on legacy Citations, resulting in reduced weight, improved reliability, and access to navigational aids.
