Blue Grass Airport is pleased to welcome AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings Inc, who is bringing nonstop service between Lexington, Kentucky and the popular vacation destinations of Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando, beginning February 11, 2010.
"With winter just around the corner, there couldn't be a better time to offer Lexington travelers low fares on nonstop flights to Florida," said Kevin Healy, senior vice president of marketing and planning for AirTran Airways. "We continue to search for new opportunities to enhance our route network, and this new service in Lexington will benefit both our airline and residents of the Bluegrass state."
