Wowd (www.wowd.com), a new real-time search engine for discovering fresh, popular content from the entire Web, announced public access to its beta. The company, founded in 2007, has built a new kind of real-time search engine that focuses on discovery, i.e. surfacing trends, breaking news, social media topics, and popular pages from around the Web.
CEO Mark Drummond will be unveiling Wowd.com to attendees of this year's Web 2.0 Summit today at 4:25 PM, at San Francisco's Westin Hotel.
