October 30, 2009 (FinancialWire) -- General Communication, Inc. (NASDAQ: GNCMA) has priced $425 million of new 8 5/8 percent senior notes due 2019 at 99.17%. The notes will be issued by the company's GCI, Inc. subsidiary.
The company plans to use the net proceeds to retire all outstanding amounts under its existing senior secured credit facility. It will use the remainder for general corporate purposes. The offering is scheduled to close on November 3.
