A COMMUNITY stalwart who was instrumental in a major regeneration project in Coventry has died aged 62.
Friends and family paid tribute to Roger Tipton who died on October 10 at Abbey Park Nursing Home after being diagnosed with cancer a year ago.
He spent ten years as chairman of the NewDeal for Communities (NDC) project to help redevelop the Wood End, Henley Green, Manor Farm and Deedmore areas.
