Singing an iconic song is always risky, especially when the songs in question are Tin Pan Alley chestnuts. But such is the terrain that crooner Michael Buble has trod since his debut in 2003. Like all singers who have followed in Sinatra's wake, when he sticks close to the great American songbook, the results are pleasing, if not exactly original.

Buble has range, but his mannerisms follow in the path laid down by the greats. Even the playful "Baby (You've Got What It Takes)" seems haunted by the Brook Benton/Dinah Washington original.
