Belarus imposes export duty on potassium chloride

MINSK. Oct 29 (Interfax) - Belarus has imposed a duty on potassium chloride exported outside the EurAsEC zone effective retroactively to September 1, 2009.

The export duty is contained in a presidential decree of October 26, 2009, that has been posted on the National Center for Legal Information's web site.

The export duty of 50 euro per tonne was imposed to raise budget revenue.
