Minmetals gets SASAC nod to take over two miners
Shanghai. October 27. INTERFAX-CHINA - China Minmetals Corp., China's largest metal product trader, has been given the green light from the State-owned Asset Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) to take over Changsha Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (CRIMM) and Luzhong Metallurgy and Mining Group (Luzhong), the SASAC announced on Oct. 26.
Hunan Province-based CRIMM owns manganese mines and is China's largest electrolytic manganese dioxide producer. It has a Shanghai Stock Exchange-listed subsidiary named Kingray New Materials Science and Technology Co. Ltd. On completion of the ...
